Parents in the Workplace – Awareness Education

In today's society, children often know more about drugs than their parents. When problems arise with employee’s children involving drugs and alcohol, the parents' job performance may suffer due to the stress and uncertainty of the situation. This awareness module will help parents learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of drug and alcohol abuse, how to help their children, and what things they can do to ensure that the children do not have problems with substances. Promoting and supporting drug and alcohol abuse prevention and education is a benefit to all workers that helps not only the employee but also the well-being of their families.

Parent Awareness Education is included with all training courses and may be accessed by purchasing a membership in the National Drug-Free Workplace Alliance or a training pass.
